The forum by Brian Austin Whitney (Just Plain Folks) is misleading with it’s false statements about Affinity Music/Don Reed Productions.
It appears that the topic “Affinity Music aka Don Reed Productions” on Brian Austin Whitney’s Just Plain Folks Forum, is to serve no other purpose than to defame Don Reeds name and the name of His company. There are numerous posts on this forum that are blatantly incorrect and liable. The people posting complaints about our company are not our clients. They have never had any contact with us. In most cases if someone is dissatisfied with our service they would contact us and give their real name Our staff has not heard of any legitimate complaints.
Evidence to date includes:
- Refers to the company as a “talent agency” - Affinity Music/Don Reed Productions is an Audio and Video Production Company.
- Whitney claims there have been no positive posts about Affinity Music. Mr Whitney has deleted many positive posts about Don Reed. The few positive posts Mr. Whitney allows on the forum are met with belittling remarks and subsequently blocked, leaving the reader with the impression that the author of the positive remarks is not credible.
- Insinuates that Don reed, or one of his associates is the author of all positive posts.
- Wrongly accuses MR Reed of being the author of “Sibilant” & “Silenced” posts.
- When one of our associates asked Whitney to produce names of people who were “unhappy customers”, he refused to give any information.
- Why would these disgruntled people not call our office?
- Whitney refuses any personal or telephone discussion with MR Reeds associates.
- Any company that produces programs of a competitive nature will likely be subject to complaints by those who did take 1st place in the competition.

Lets look at Brian Austin Whitney.
There are no credits that we know of.
He is a guitar player in his hometown square dance band.
He has made derogatory statements about many companies.
He is not licensed to be a reporting agency. He is a host of a forum board that prints slanderous remarks about many companies.
He is unknown by decision-makers in the music and recording industry in Nashville and other recording centers world wide.
He claims he has hundreds of angry clients of Affinity Music. If that’s so why haven’t these clients come to Don Reed.
Until Brian Austin Whitney can post some real names of unhappy people, we at Affinity Music place no validity on his claims. Our staff recently received an e-mail stating that none of the derogatory posts on just Plain Folks are our clients.
Our forum has been locked due to one or some individuals using it to post sex and drug sites on it. This forum is for discussion of music only.
We welcome you to read the postings of real people who are our clients. You may still post your experience or questions on our forum by e-mailing it to don@affinitymusic. com. Everything we post is subject to editorial discretion.
